What people are saying
about Southern Challenge:
Great
competition as usual!

The students had a fabulous
time! The conference center was beautiful
and the large windows looking out to the woods
gave a peaceful vacation quality.
The snacks were awesome! Good selection
and it was wonderful to have them because so
often there isn't time to eat a big meal--and
even if there is you often don't want to eat
much in one sitting if you are competing.
The way the heats were organized made it much
easier for staff to keep track of the students
they were dancing with instead of dancing with
a different student every heat and having to
remember who goes when. It also gave the
students time to really warm up and to feel
like they were in the spotlight for a while
even if they weren't doing 100 entries. I
liked that the heats were longer, too.

Daniel, I would like
to say thank you for organizing such a great
event!!!!! The comp. was better than last year
and I am hoping that 2005 will be even more
so. And i would like to add to all of your staff
for SC a huge "thank you" for making
the event so great!!!!!!! It was beautiful and
it was run smoothly.
Kellie Cunningham
Dan, Great comp this
weekend. Next year you might want to think about
having an award for the top solo and spectacular.
This would encourage people to bring their
showcase routines to the event and get them
excited about the upcoming showcase auditions.

Great comp!!!!! I loved
the order of the heats. It made it less redundant.....for
me and my students. The accomodations, food,
decoration, and organization was wonderful.
As far as what I would have liked to see changed...
I second Radhika's idea of top solos and specs.Thank
you so much. I appreciate you wanting feedback.
